Alyssa earned her degree in Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Medical Center, School of Allied Health, New Orleans, in 1992. She has worked with clients of all ages in a variety of settings that have given her a broad perspective to base her clinical decisions and strengthen her expertise. She started her career in the District of Columbia school system and has worked in acute care, long term care, home health, memory care, and hospice in Virginia, California, Texas, Florida, Hawaii and Washington.
Her personal experience has given her unique insights and empathy for the complexity of caring for aging parents while raising young children. She has devoted the majority of her practice to clients who want to age in place and their children who desperately want them to remain safe. She applies her professional experience from multiple health care settings to compassion in action!
